Special, Special Read All About It. Inquiring Minds Want to Know.

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

I have found a source for the newspapers of the world. I enjoy this so much. I may be reading about the fires in South Carolina then hop over to the war in Iraq and off to have tea with the Queen! I mean see what the Royal Family is up to!

When the earthquakes hit Japan I went to the newspapers there and found more photo’s than what the papers in the USA had to offer. Some newspapers are in their foreign language and a lot have the option of you viewing them in English. But if you are only looking for pictures of a certain instance in the area then you will not have any problems. This is a great source and it is FREE. That is the best part.

Pizza Order This is very scary!

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

A friend of mine Dave sent this to me. It is how we are going to be ordering pizza in the future or about anything else. They just used pizza for an example. It is scary and something to think about. I have always said this about different things. For instance in our new cell phones that we use they have GPS tracking devices. I know this for a fact. Just last week police officers in Florida gave a 4 year old an award because his mother blacked out in a parking lot at a post office and he called 911 and kept saying he was at the mail place.  They first thought he was saying mall UNTIL the 911 dispatcher used the tracking device to see where he was on a GPS map from the little boys mothers phone and realized he was saying mail. I often have said while we are watching television with our new big screens or latest model tv’s who is watching us. Call it watching to much Xfiles in the past but it very well could happen. You just can’t trust anyone now a days.  Check out this pizza ordering . It will give you a wake up call!

I do not know who is responsible for this but If I find out I will post the credit. I did not do it. I wish I had the brains to do something like this. AWESOME.

Toto I do not think we are in Locust Fork anymore!

That is just what I felt like early this morning around 2 am. We had one of the most intense scary storms of my lifetime. Normally I am not afraid of the storms. Gary is nervous about them but I usually just watch them. Well this morning along with Gary and Aunt Jan I was terrified. I held my composure well as I did not want to alert the others but I really thought I was going to wake up with the house sitting on the wicked witch of another Alabama County. Emergency crews were up and down my road clearing trees that had fallen on the road. We experienced damage to the roof of our garage, gate was damaged coming up our drive and our flag pole was completely bent over and laying flat on the ground. We are going to have to cut the pole off about 2 feet and put it back in concrete. I will eventually get a new flag pole but until now we will make do. We were without power from 2:10 am until around 5:30 tonight. The wind was horrible. I sat in the living room in the dark with a flashlight waiting for the roof to completely lift off the house. However we are very blessed. We heard on the scanner about trees in our area being in houses and also had people pinned. It was a very active night on the scanner and we all three thank God that he protected us and kept our damages small and most of all we are going to be able to continue to live. Thank you God for always watching over us. Tonight we are expecting another round of bad storms and we are trusting you for your safe watch over us again.
