Wednesday, October 28th, 2009If the Postal lady that delivered a package to the house today would have run off the road if she knew what had been in the box.
Oh by the way it came all the way from Ono, Florida.. Solomon’s Castle. Made by a very talented man, Howard Solomon.
I forgot to tell you it is a plant hanger. You hang it from the tail and the plant goes on the curved part of the neck.
I can see it now.. Go outside again and forget it is there and have to find the mop again!! I do love it.. Beautiful wood and carvings.

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009Queen Mode
Wednesday, October 28th, 2009Hey I bet you thought you were looking at Queen Elizabeth! NOPE me Queen Christianna. Don’t that sound regal? You all can just call me Your Highness! I am in Queen Mode but trying to get out of it. Today is a good day to get some sewing done. I am trying to get motivated!
There is a joke around here. I think I am a Queen. I don’t know how they came up with that “I think” business. I KNOW!
My sister “It” bought me the tiara years ago. She still harbors ill feelings. I bought her one but the very tip of it got broken off during packing and delivering. She just needs to be patient. When I feel she has reached Princess status I will get her another one. No one can be Queen, just me! I have this title for life!
Today I am starting a new job. Quilting. I have decided that the only way I am ever going to get anything done is work it like a job.. Oh Lord, where is my time card? I just hope my boss does not mind me wearing Pj’s!
A Great Find
Monday, October 26th, 2009I have had this for years. It just dawned on me that it is a quilted piece. I wonder how they did this? I sure would love to know so I could take some of the old quilt pieces I have and make some more..It is hard as a brick.. Anybody have any ideas on this technique please be sure to let me know. I would love to make one. It is molded just like a hat. Thank you in advance.
