Dove Messages

You know, I definately believe in signs. For all you who know me what is my favorite candy? Dark Dove Chocolates with Brach’s Bridge Mix coming in second. Well last night I got my two pieces of Dove and settled in to watch Roseanne on the tellie!  I got this message “Do not look back and ask why, look forward and ask why not!”  Had two pieces had the same message twice.  Tonight I got my two pieces while I am sitting here watching Roseanne and the first one was the same message as I had last night twice.  I am definately taking this as a sign or either someone that works for Dove knows me VERY WELL!!!  That message was made just for me. Thanks Dove for sending me that message twice last night and confirming it again tonight!   The second piece I had tonight the paper said “Share stories, share memories, embrace your life!”  Do you think someone is trying to tell me something?

Postcards I Made Today

I worked today finishing some of the postcards that I had to get ready to mail out tomorrow . I hope you enjoy!  Click on the pictures to see a closeup of the work!

 Halloween 1 Postcard                                                                                                      

I am in a Halloween swap with two other ladies. This is one of the cards. I took my grape cluster stitch on my machine and worked it all over the hair. I thought that made great hair!

 

 

Halloween 2 postcard  I also used the same grape cluster stitch on the hair. On my sewing machine I have this stitch that makes grapes and leaves.. I just went all over the hair.. I also stitched the flowers on the childs head!!  

 

 

PICT0329  I made this for Daryl. Keeper of the Sunflowers at an Arkansas rest stop. He had some of the most beautiful flowers on the planet. He gave me some sunflower heads to dry and have seeds for this spring.   

 

 

PICT0331 This was for one of my Trading Fabric PostCard Swaps. I bought the fabric in two places. Florida and Tennessee!! I shop all over! 

 

 

 

 

PICT0328 Last but not least. I met a Dove Candy representative online. She commented on a blog I had written on Dove Candy, my favorite. I made this for her.. I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed eating each piece of chocolate to get the wrappers for the postcard!

Dove Chocolate Message

I would post a picture on here of the actual two pieces but unfortunately I tore into my two pieces of Dove that I have nightly and destroyed the wrapper. However I did get to see what was written inside of the wrappers and I needed the message. It was just what I needed to hear.

Keep believing in yourself and your special dreams!

Do a little more each day than you think you possibly can!

I like both of them.  Just what I needed. I definately LOVE DARK CHOCOLATE DOVE CANDY.. It is the best!!!
