January 8, 2013 I Want To Make A Journal Cover

I have always wanted to make a journal cover. I never have found a pattern that shows a great tutorial as here at http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2012/08/tutorial-journal-covers.html

I think I have enough scraps to start sewing together and then I’ll be able to create some beautiful journals.  You can go to the Dollar Tree Store if you have one in your area and get the composition books for $1.00.   How great a deal is that!!!!!

    Thanks for sharing, Chris. Have you heard of Smash Books? I have one, but I’ve wanted to create my own version and this cover idea is perfect. Since I’ve started swapping ATC’s, I want to keep the fun stamps and decorated envelopes that I get with the ATC’s and this journal with the custom cover would be perfect. I have a page in my Smash Book where I’ve been recording where I’m getting ATC’s from. I’m having a blast making and swapping them. Thanks, Chris!!!
