We made them as gifts for two special people who are very dedicated University of Alabama fans. When I finish the binding I will be posting some pictures. Plus I have a miniature Christmas quilt to start and 3 postcards to get finished. Then off to a quilt I started two years ago but my machine kept messing up and I had to get another machine.
Gary is going to be busy also. I want to make a quilt out of African fabrics. Which is my favorite fabrics. I am going to do the Turning 20 pattern. I will be picking out my 20 pieces today so he can start cutting. I have a good setup here. I get the pattern, pick the fabric and he cuts and I sew as fast as he cuts. We can get a lot done that way. But before I start anything else, I have two quilts to bind.
Check back later for progress hopefully. If you are in the path of Irene. I am hoping and praying for the best for you. I have stayed glued to the Weather Channel. Maybe this will be over soon. “This too shall pass.”
I was going to post a picture of the quilt top but my camera slot in my computer deciding not to work.
Can’t wait to see you new quilts.
We are still waiting, won’t hit till tomorrow and by then it will have slowed down, so just a big storm, this time.
Debbie
