Well it is for a date to learn to make fabric postcards. April 9th 2pm Cleveland, AL Dry Creek Antiques. Be there or be square!!
Really seriously we are meeting at the room behind Dry Creek Antiques for a postcard class. It will be $10.00 and I will be furnishing all the supplies. I will have a few machines there but if you have one that you can transport easily please bring it.
We will be making an Easter card. It is NOT hard and a lot of fun. Think of it this way. If someone sends you a card chances are you read it, keep it for a few days and throw away or in my case to the recycle bin. If someone gives you a work of art like one of these fabric cards you can display it on a tiny easel , frame it and you definately will keep it. I have probably 1000 and they are simply beautiful. I can display them and enjoy them. You can make all your holiday cards, birthday, anniversary, etc. It only takes making one to get hooked! It is very easy and you really do not even have to have a sewing machine or sewing skills to make them. You can make them for pennies. You will have one of a kind card not a mass production off the shelves in the stores.
I hope to see you there. For more information you can email me at SadieMaesAttic@aol.com The class will start at 2pm. Come early and shop around in Jerri’s antique store. You will love all the great things you find there.
